ON SIDE RESTORATION – Riding the wave of change

On Side Restoration is poised for a good year in 2018. Branch expansion plans are in full swing, technological advancements are evolving, and the company is getting attention for its unique Canadian ownership model.

Craig Hogarth, president and CEO of On Side Restoration Services, said, “We’re excited to turn our attention to growth after a few years of hunkering down, re-evaluating our processes and improving our internal efficiencies. Although we’re still strengthening our project-management technology and interface with Xactimate, we’re now at a level where our accomplishment is getting recognized – and more work is the result of our collective diligence.” Hogarth continued, “It’s a good feeling to stretch out again and begin to extend our reach into more parts of the country.”

The company is set to open several new locations in Ontario this year, as well as a branch in Halifax, N.S., as was announced last November. The company is also looking for acquisition opportunities to supplement its expansion plans. This growth responds to insurance providers committed to supporting these new locations, which is a validation of the company’s structure and special capabilities. Despite operating over 22 branches, the company can act as one during a CAT situation. One owner, one executive team, one operations team and one system have resulted in improved communication and consistency. In the end, the company sees this focused capability as better for its clients.

On Side consistently demonstrates during catastrophes that it can swiftly bring in additional resources, while its proprietary internal project-management system allows for transparent, hands-on administrative support, communication and backup – no matter where the CAT is taking place.

With no shortage of challenges facing the industry, On Side has been encouraged by healthy NPS scores and climbing KPI scores. Branch by branch, On Side continues to work hard to put customers first and keep the lines of communication open.
