Estimating Consultant (E/F Bilingual)

On Side Restoration is looking to welcome an Estimating Consultant to our new Estimating Excellence group. 

What you’ll be doing 

• Developing estimating best practices to support our national teams. 
• Create detailed and comprehensive repair scopes and estimates.
• Work with key stakeholders to train and ensure correct use of estimating tools. 
• Review project estimates with a focus on costing and completeness. 
• Support branch teams throughout our national network. 

What we’re looking for

• 5 to 10 years’ experience in residential and light commercial Construction Estimating. 
• 6 years’ experience with estimating and costing platforms (i.e., Verisk/Xactimate, or Corelogic/Symbility). 
• Ability to review damages using virtual media. 
• 4 years experience managing restoration and/or construction projects. 
• Acumen in all aspects of construction project profitability. 
• IICRC designation with particular focus on s700 and s520. 
• Bilingual in English and French strongly preferred.  
• A strong communicator who understands and clearly delivers (in)formal presentations on complex matters in person and virtually. 
• A proven track record in developing and executing construction / restoration projects (i.e., sales, customer service management, trade scheduling and management, job costing and pricing, etc.). 
• Ability to travel required.
