English title: Human Resources Consultant

We are looking for a Human Resources consultant with employee relations experience to join our National team and contribute to creating a safe and inclusive work environment aligned with our values.

What you’ll do here:

• Key member of the HR team leading and conducting employee related investigations across departments and teams nationally.
• Use a structured methodology to conduct investigations in collaboration with HR team members as required
• Develop and document process, guidelines and record keeping in line with compliance standards.
• Design and deliver training to people leaders on preventing and addressing respect in the workplace issues plus conflict management
• Create data and analytics for complaints and litigation cases ensuring investigation consistency, conclusions and next steps
• Support the Human Resources department by contributing to various projects and process improvement.

 What you bring to the table:

• University degree in Industrial Relations or Human Resources Management with a minimum of two to three (2-3) years of related experience
• Bilingualism spoken and written (French & English) is required as this is a National role
• Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders across multiple locations in a matrix organization
• Approach challenges with a can-do attitude
• Consider yourself agile, challenges the status quo and thrives in a constantly changing environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to understand operational structure and process
• Ability to observe and understand situations with a high degree of complexity and involving different business process.
• Strong rigor, analytical and synthesis skills.
• Knowledge in many areas of human resources;
• CHRP and/or CHRL designation an asset;
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite;
• Knowledge of RBQ and CCQ rules would be an asset;
• Occasional travel required.
