Lead the Future of Water Damage and Remediation Excellence at On Side

At On Side Restoration, we don’t just restore properties, we restore confidence. As our National Manager, Water Damage and Remediation, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping best practices across Canada. This is your opportunity to influence, inspire, and elevate standards in one of the most critical areas of our business.

This isn’t a role about managing, it’s about leading through collaboration, coaching teams, and connecting people to purpose. You’ll champion consistency, competence, and confidence across our operations network, ensuring every branch delivers excellence in water damage and remediation. If you thrive on building relationships, driving innovation, and making a national impact, we want to hear from you.

National Manager, Water Damage and Remediation is responsible for:

  • Leading through influence — build trust, collaboration, and engagement across all levels.
  • Create and grow a Champion Network and Learning Teams to drive continuous improvement from the ground up.
  • Develop and maintain national standards for remediation, drying, and water damage practices.
  • Cascade company policies and procedures effectively from Operations Management to field teams.
  • Develop strategies, workflows and metrics to ensure consistent adoption and adherence to standards.
  • Ensure worker acknowledgment, understanding and execution of procedures and compliance expectations.
  • Support COR and internal audit processes, helping identify trends and drive corrective actions.
  • Bridge the gap between OSA (On Side Academy) and real-world application — turning knowledge into competence.
  • Deliver “boots on the ground” mentorship, field visits, and on-site demonstrations and training.
  • Collaborate with the Learning & Development team to design and deploy standardized, modern training materials.
  • Support branch leaders in implementing consistent, high-quality learning experiences for their teams.
  • Use data (KPIs, dashboards, audit trends) to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Share best practices and success stories across branches to strengthen national consistency.
  • Leverage field expertise to improve corporate processes and standards.
  • Support large-loss and complex drying initiatives through technical guidance and standardization.
  • Documentation Review (Salus, our digital health and safety management system).
  • Serve as a resource for employees with compliance-related questions or concerns.
  • Stay current on relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Support the implementation of new initiatives or policy updates.
  • Manage Dry-in-place, remote monitoring. Analyze EQ Trends to increase efficiency and productivity.

What you bring:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the property restoration industry, with a focus on asbestos abatement, water, fire, and mold remediation, from a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of IICRC, COR, and regulatory standards.
  • Valid IICRC-AMRT Ticket
  • Interprovincial experience with asbestos legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — approachable, empathetic, and professional.
  • Proven ability to coach, mentor, and influence without direct authority.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Of Note:
Salary estimates provided in this job posting encompass all locations. Total compensation will be discussed at time of interview and determined by factors such as region, experience, and education.

What’s in it for you?
We’re an established company in a growing industry and we need awesome people! We WANT you to be fulfilled by your work, we WANT you to enjoy the people you work with and we WANT to provide you with learning and advancement opportunities. We also love that we’re able to provide an employee assistance program, RRSP matching and a comprehensive health plan which includes extended medical (ex. chiropractic, massage, acupuncture, vision) dental, long-term disability (LTD) and life insurance. At On Side we work hard to embrace diversity and inclusion and encourage everyone to bring their authentic selves to work every day.

Get on our side!
Both major weather disasters and minor accidents involving water, fire, and more happen every day, and in our industry, this is how we keep busy, restoring properties 24 hours per day, 7 days a week. Mother Nature usually doesn’t wait for an invitation, but we’re in the business of dealing with party crashers, and we’ve done it for over 40 years!

We have branches from Victoria, BC to St. John’s, Newfoundland and (almost) everywhere in between. Our fantastic team of over 2,000 employees stretches far and wide across Canada, and we’re growing—YOU could be the next great addition!
