Position Summary
On Side Restoration is looking for an Operations Manager to join our team! Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Operations Manager will oversee our Moncton and Saint John Branch Locations.
The Operations Manager is all about managing and leading people. Their people focus is all encompassing and will result in the ultimate success of the local operations, territory, company, and position. Overseeing all operations personnel, the Operations Manager must have superior knowledge of operations management and the ability to build superior relationships with key stake holders. Responsible for building teams the Operations Manager ensures the ops team is up to date on all health and safety standards, able to meet key KPI’s and work as a unified team
Compensation
- Salary Range: $75,000-$85,000
- Salary based on skills, qualifications and experience
- Annual Performance Incentive Bonus – Percentage of base salary subject to personal and company performance.

What You’ll Do
- Direct & Motivate. Manage the daily workflow of the Operations team
- Foster a workplace focused on employee engagement, customer service, and an inclusive environment
- Lead the charge on accident reduction and maintain a safe working environment.
- Customer Service – general understanding of water emergencies/claims/schedules.
- Understanding scope of work and skills needed on a job site.
- Communicating with property owners/insureds, setting up schedules, dispatching technicians.
- Scheduling work with property owners.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the branch meets COR (Certificate of Recognition) requirements and follows all company and customer protocol
What You Bring
- 3+ years of Leadership experience
- Previous operations management experience
- Construction or Restoration experience
- Trades scheduling experience.
- Enhanced critical thinking, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive, results driven, highly skilled business professional with proven record for meeting and exceeding targets and objectives
- A well-developed pattern of achievement, competitive skills, energy, motivation, enthusiasm, and integrity
- Excellent communicator with a natural, authentic rapport
- Team player, self-motivated and goal oriented.
- Ability to think strategically and analytically at a high-level
- Ability to prioritize and meet tight timelines in a fast paced environment
- Computer skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Clear criminal background check
- Working knowledge of building codes
- Enhanced critical thinking, decision-making and problem-solving skills

- Our team culture is built on daily in-person collaboration. This role requires working in branch five days a week.
- Disasters can strike at any time so a rotating schedule of 24/7 after hours on-call work is a requirement. Meaning you’ll work regular weekday hours and participate in a rotating after-hours on-call schedule.
