Contents Technician Warehouse – Winnipeg

Compensation: $22 – $25/ hour (full-time / permanent)

The Contents Technician Warehouse at On Side is vital to the success of all projects. Anytime a disaster destroys an area, all contents that have survived need a place to stay! Ensuring the organization of our warehouse, so that everything is received, labelled, categorized, stored, and then retrieved and checked out is paramount to our success.

What you bring…

The Contents Technician Warehouse bring a host of abilities to their work with a ‘get it done!’ attitude.
Additional abilities required include:

• 2+ years of content restoration or relevant industry experience
• Forklift experience: ability to balance loads, move, organize, and handle items safely without damage
• Understanding of inventory tracking and control systems, Microsoft Excel skills for tracking warehouse contents
• Experience with cleaning, packing, and handling contents in a warehouse environment
• Willingness to work both in the warehouse and on job sites as required
• Experience and willingness to perform physical, hands‑on work: heavy lifting capability
• Experience with Fireline systems (asset but training provided)
• Strong teamwork, communication, and people skills
• High attention to detail with the ability to follow directions accurately
• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
• Valid driver’s licence and clean criminal record
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken

Of Note

Disasters can strike at any time so a rotating schedule of 24/7 after hours on-call work is a requirement. Meaning you’ll work regular weekday hours and participate in a rotating after-hours on-call schedule.
