Position Summary
We’re looking for an organized, people-savvy, and proactive Bilingual (French/English) HR Coordinator to help keep our HR operations running smoothly. In this role, you’ll be the go-to support for a wide variety of HR activities—from employee programs and documentation to reporting and special projects. - Salary Range: $63,000-$73,000

What You’ll Do
- Provide assistance to internal and external customers by responding to general inquiries and requests and escalate any complex inquiries and requests to the relevant Human Resources Generalist (HRG) or Human Resources Manager (HRM)
- Review and validate employee change requests, assemble the applicable documentation, provide instructions to people leaders regarding the process to complete the employee change(s), and escalate any unique change requests to the relevant HRG or HRM
- Process job reclassifications, changes, and additions ensuring all stakeholders are made aware of the changes to ensure system alignment across departments (i.e., Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Finance, IT, etc.)
- Process leaves of absence and terminations, ensuring all required documentation are collected in a timely manner and ensuring tracking records are updated and maintained
- Assist with preparation of a variety of documentation related to administration of employee employment life cycle, (e.g., overpayment recovery letters, unique employment verification letters, documentation to support immigration matters, etc.)
- Monitor employee work permit and study permit expirations, follow-up with managers to ensure new status documentation is received in a timely manner to ensure legal employment compliance
- Review, validate, process and assist with managing employee programs (e.g., educational assistance, employee referral, High Five recognition program, etc.)
- Maintain employee records ensuring all important and relevant documentation is filed into the appropriate employee file in a timely manner
- Update HR resources on the company intranet on SharePoint
- Assist with metrics reporting (e.g. turnover reports, headcount, etc.) as requested
- Assist with HR projects, employee programs and company initiatives
- Perform other related duties as assigned
What You Bring
- Bilingual French/English: Need to interact on a regular basis with French & English-speaking clients and colleagues across the country.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree specializing in Human Resources and/or Industrial Relations
- Minimum 1 year of human resources experience preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to maintain and preserve strict confidentiality of information
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Experience working in a high volume and complex environment that is growing and changing
- Strong ability to consume large volumes of information and apply critical thinking
- Ability to work in a team and independently
- Must be computer literate with experience with Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience with a HRIS is an asset
