Laundry Technician

Compensation
: $20.00 – $22.00 / hour (full-time / permanent)

As a Laundry Technician, you are a critical part of our restoration team helping people get their lives back to normal. This isn’t a “standard” laundry position—it’s specialized work. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who takes pride in turning damaged textiles back into cherished belongings. By merging a 5S mindset with a commitment to quality and cost control, you’ll ensure every job is completed with precision, care, and total consistency.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Mitigate further damage to soft contents through proper handling and storage.
  • Inspect items for pre-existing damage; document findings with photos and accurate piece counts.
  •  Process textiles efficiently through in-house systems or coordinated sub-trades to meet deadlines.
  • Perform daily operation and routine maintenance of laundry machinery following established protocols.
  • Follow a 5S methodology to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
  • Maintain clear, timely communication with internal teams and external partners to ensure project success.
  •  Complete all required documentation and reporting to ensure seamless invoicing.
  • Maintain a proactive safety culture to prevent accidents and incidents.
  •  Represent the brand professionally through personal appearance and care of company assets

Qualification and Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s licence
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS)
  • Understanding of restoration business
  • Understanding of textile restoration
  • Basic computer skills required, proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
