Position Summary
The Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting plays a key role in leading regular and month-end accounting, management reporting, and advanced financial analysis. This role ensures robust financial reporting, strong accounting discipline, and compliance with IFRS, while driving continuous improvement and acting as a bridge between accounting, FP&, and business leadership.

Compensation
- Salary Range: $95,000 – $110,000
What You’ll Do
- Lead and oversee regular and month‑end accounting activities, including preparation and review of complex journal entries and accruals
- Ensure accurate recognition of revenue, expenses, and estimates in accordance with IFRS and company accounting policies
- Perform and review account reconciliations, resolving complex variances and discrepancies
- Own the preparation and delivery of monthly management reporting packages
- Perform and review detailed tie‑outs between the general ledger, reporting systems, and financial statements
- Conduct advanced variance analysis between actuals, budget, forecast, and prior periods, clearly explaining financial performance to FP&A and leadership
- Support external financial reporting, audits, and reviews by preparing schedules, documentation, and explanations
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, controls, and automation
- Act as a subject‑matter expert for accounting and financial reporting topics
- Mentor and review work prepared by Reporting Analysts
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes with high‑quality historical and current reporting inputs
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- CPA designation
- 5+ years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or finance
- Strong understanding of IFRS and financial statement mechanics
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability
- High attention to detail with sound professional judgment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in English; French fluency is highly desirable
