Position Summary
The Manager, File Review & Audit plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of completed job files across On Side Restoration. In this role, you’ll review documentation to validate scope, costing, and supporting materials while ensuring alignment with company standards, insurance guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
You’ll also contribute to continuous improvement by identifying trends, supporting audits, and driving consistency and quality across operational processes.

Compensation
- Salary Range: $90,000-$110,000 /year
- Salary based on skills, qualifications and experience
- Annual Performance Incentive Bonus – Percentage of base salary subject to personal and company performance.

What You’ll Do
File Auditing & Quality Control
- Review completed job files for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company and industry standards
- Validate scope of work, costing, and supporting documentation (photos, estimates, contracts)
- Identify discrepancies and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues
Process Improvement
- Provide feedback and coaching to improve file quality and documentation practices
- Partner with operations leadership to refine processes and tools
- Track recurring issues and recommend improvements to training and workflows
Compliance & Standards
- Ensure alignment with internal benchmarks and external requirements (insurance carriers, regulatory standards)
- Maintain knowledge of restoration industry standards (IICRC), insurer protocols, and tools
Reporting & Metrics
- Produce reports on audit outcomes, error rates, and compliance metrics
- Support internal audits and external reviews as required
What You Bring
- Minimum 3 years of experience in file auditing, quality control, or documentation review
- Restoration or insurance industry experience strongly preferred
- Post-secondary education in business, construction management, insurance, or a related field (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (bilingual French is an asset)
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with Xactimate, DASH, or similar systems is an asset
- Knowledge of IICRC standards and insurance carrier protocols preferred
